The Spruce crochet shawl is a beautiful, modern, chunky crochet shawl. It is perfect for beginners and results in a warm and striking accessory that can be worn throughout the seasons. I used Crochet.com Wool of the Andes yarn. The Spruce Crochet Shawl can be styled in so many different ways, I personally like it draped across by back for chilly nights but it also looks great with the triangle point in the front and the ends criss crossed around.

The Yarn
For the sample crochet scarf, I used Crochet.com Wool of The Andes bulky yarn in the colors Lumberjack, Fedora and Gosling . This is a great budget friendly 100% wool yarn and comes in a variety of colors. However, there are so many possibilities with yarn choices for this pattern, any bulky weight yarn will work, it does not necessarily need to be 100% wool yarn. Brava Bulky, Lion Brand Hue and Me, and Lion Brand Mandala Impressions are some good options.

You can purchase the printable pdf for this crochet shawl pattern on Etsy, or on Ravelry.
