Headband and cowl for beginners
If you are a beginner knitter, this Headband and Cowl set is the pattern for you! This set is made using a super simple two row repeat. All you need to know are knit and purl stitches. Even if you are experienced this pattern will still be great for quick gifts or for market preps.
The yarn
This headband and cowl set is made extra cozy by using We Are Knitters The Petite wool yarn. You will need a little less than two balls for the set. I used the color Pearl for both. You could substitute a thicker yarn but keep in mind you may need a different amount if you substitute.
notes
- The headband and cowl set is made by knitting in the round.
- I find the Lykke 3.5″ circular knitting needles perfect for project like this.
- The headband measures approximately 22″ around.
- The cowl measures approximately 34″ around.
- Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of your rounds.
