Flattering, Cozy Crochet Sweater
This Crochet Sweater manages to be flattering and cozy all at the same time. The wide V-neck helps add a feminine shape that will look great on any body type. I made this sweater slightly cropped, however, you can easily add length by adding additional rows to the back panel and front panel (before the neckline shaping).

The Yarn
For this crochet sweater pattern I used We Crochet Capra yarn in Hemlock Heather.
This yarn is a Merino Cashmere blend. It creates a beautiful drape and luxurious feel. If you are substituting be sure to find a similar yarn as using a different yarn could affect the drape of your sweater.
Special Stitches
This entire sweater is made using the Herringbone Half Double Crochet (Hhdc) stitch.
yarn over, insert into st pull up a loop, slip st through the first loop, yarn over and pull through remaining loops.
You may purchase a printable PDF version of this pattern which includes schematics and diagrams on Etsy or Ravelry.
notes
- ch1 throughout pattern does not count as a st.
- This sweater is made by crocheting the front panel, back panel, sleeves, then seaming all together.

Seaming
- Place front and back panels together, I recommend using stitch markers to attach them together temporarily.
- Using your preferred method of seaming (whip st, mattress st, etc) begin by seaming together the shoulders of your sweater one at a time
- Seam the sleeves to the body of the sweater
- Fold sweater in half (inside out) seam up the sides and bottom of sleeves.
- Flip sweater right side out.
Neckline
Attach yarn to the back of the neck line, sc around neckline for a more finished look.
