The Helix Crochet Pillow

The Helix crochet pillow

Modern Crochet Pillow

The Helix crochet pillow was made to coordinate with the Pebble crochet blanket and the Bobble crochet coaster. These three items are already in my bedroom and I love the look of all three of them together. I’m actually considering making another Helix crochet pillow to fill out the space a little more. The modern look of these is really on trend right now but they also have a classic look to them that won’t go out of style.

notes

  • The ch1 throughout this pattern does not count as a st.
    • I decided to use a ch1 at the beginning of each row instead of a ch2 or even a ch3 to give the blanket a cleaner, tighter edge.
  • OPTIONAL: Make 2 front panels for a double sided pillow. Keep in mind that this will increase the yards needed.

Guage

8 sts x 6 rows in hdc

Size

18.5″ x 17″

The helix pillow yarn

  • 5.5mm Crochet hook, I use these.
