As soon as I saw Lion Brand Yarns Mandala Roving in the color way Tartan I KNEW I had to make a crochet blanket with it. This yarn is so cozy, it has the feel of wool but is 100% acrylic making it super low maintenance. I couldn’t get over how the colors in this yarn reminded me of a lush green forest and a weekend gateway in a cozy cabin in the mountains. So I put the two together for the cabin crochet blanket!

It’s all in the details

I wanted the cabin crochet blanket to be a super easy project, but I didn’t want to make a blanket with just double crochet. I added the mountain shapes to really bring in the “cozy forest” feel. It’s a subtle detail but it’s perfect for this blanket.
