Oversized crochet sweater
One of the biggest staples in my fall and winter wardrobe are oversized crochet sweaters. They’re so cozy and versatile. This year I wanted to create a crochet sweater with some chunky wool yarn that I can wear all season long. I used the We are Knitters petite wool in pearl and I love how soft and squishy it turned out. I designed this crochet sweater to have an oversized fit throughout, the sleeves are wider and slightly long and the body of the sweater is also wide and slightly long, which works great if you want to wear it with leggings.

Notes
- The Aspen Sweater is made by crocheting the front and back panels, both sleeves, then seaming everything together.
- The ch2 in this pattern does not count as a st.
- Do not ch between each cluster st.
- This sweater was designed to be oversized, if you would like it to be a bit more fitted, size down.
- For reference I am wearing a size small in the photo. I have a 36†bust and I am 5’2†a size xs would fit me slightly more fitted, however, I was going for the oversized fit.

Seaming
To seam your sweater together, lay all your panels flat with the “wrong side†facing up. Line up the front and back panels at the top towards the necklines and seam together, then center both sleeves to the side. Using stitch markers to hold everything together at this point helps. Attach both sleeves, then fold your top in half and seam the sides.
Weave in ends, block your sweater and you’re done!
